Strain Gauge Strip Sensor Certification in South Korea

The evaluation was conducted in accordance with the ITS Performance Evaluation Standards, and certified by the Korean Intelligent Transportation Systems Association, a performance evaluation agency designated by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MOLIT).
Following certification, MOLIT selected the HS-WIM solution for deployment at the DAESAN Checkpoint in Chungcheongnam-do. This checkpoint, part of National Highway 32, will monitor four lanes and identify overloaded vehicles. The region’s increasing traffic calls for robust systems to protect road safety and preserve infrastructure, making this installation a crucial initiative.
