FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Minneapolis, MN – Intercomp is proud to announce the addition of its handheld Thermal Imager. This tool allows any crewmember, racer or race engineer, the ability to track temperatures in a variety of objects and materials to push the envelope of maximum performance.

A 2.4-inch high-resolution color screen provides an easy-to-read picture, whether analyzing the thermal strain on a critical engine part, or finding the optimal part of the racing surface.
The imager also gives a racer the ability to save as many as 25,000 images. This option makes it easier to see thermal changes over time. Widely-available Micro SD media storage makes further analysis, at the track or the shop, intuitive and user friendly.

The Intercomp Thermal Imager has a measurement range from -20° C to +300° C (-4° F to 572° F) with a thermal sensitivity of 0.15° C. Weighing in at only 320g (0.71 lbs.), this highly mobile, handheld system is accurate within ±2% or ±2° C (±2% or ±4° F). Included is a carrying pouch to keep the imager protected, whether in a toolbox or on pit lane. Powered by four AA batteries, this unit will run for six continuous hours.

Intercomp’s handheld Thermal Imager provides a cost-effective, portable, long-lasting and reliable way to spot unwanted heat and wear before a costly failure. It should be a staple in any toolbox.
