SIA Engineering in the Philippines Accepts Delivery of Intercomp Scales for Aircraft Weight and Balance.
Minneapolis, MN – Continuing the long supplier relationship with SIA Engineering dating back to 1996, SIA Engineering (Philippines) has undergone installation and training for Intercomp low-profile platform scales for narrow and wide-body aircraft.
Employing a platform system that uses Intercomp GaugeSense shear-beam load cell technology, SIAEP utilizes the same load cell technology found in Intercomp OIML approved scales and load cells. Upon installation, the users noted that Intercomp’s technology eliminated the scale warm up time, reduced time between weighing, and eliminated the need for centering of tires all of which was required with their older hydraulically actuated, piezo-sensing scale technology resulting in significant time savings for each weighing procedure.
