Scale Calibration & Repair Services

Our headquarters in Medina, Minnesota - USA offers a full service center and certified technicians providing complete repair, support and calibration for all Intercomp products.  Featuring high-precision, fully automated force calibration systems with capacities to 50 tons and tension calibration systems with capacities to 250 tons, we calibrate scales & systems with standards traceable to U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST).  Intercomp also maintains an inventory of over 20,000 lbs in dead weights used for testing and calibration which are certified by the MN Department of Weights & Measures.

For customers located in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Intercomp has a sales and service center in the United Kingdom as well.  Weigh scale calibration capabilities include dead weight and fully automated forces of up to 50 tons with standards traceable to the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures ( BIPM).

Both calibration and repair facilities are regularly audited as part of our ISO 9001:2015 Certification.

Weigh Scale Calibration Services

Having your scale or measurement device calibrated at Intercomp provides you with a reliable, accurate and cost-effective means to ensure your equipment is operating at its best, that it is calibrated to exacting industry standards and is done so by highly trained, factory personnel.  

In our Metrology Laboratories, technicians calibrate your scales with state-of-the-art calibration instrumentation, traceable through NIST or other recognized National Metrology Institutes, and will leverage our proprietary automated calibration software to reliably deliver your calibration data.  Certificates of Calibration are provided for most services and kept on file for future reference.   Factory-based services are arranged on an on-call basis – Contact us today to schedule your calibration service.

Routine/Scheduled Maintenance Plans

Scales & measurement equipment require regular maintenance to ensure they continue to perform reliably and accurately throughout the life of the product.

Regularly scheduled maintenance & scale calibration services make it simple and cost-effective to keep your weighing and measurement devices operating properly.  Rather than reacting to unexpected downtime with expensive emergency repairs, Intercomp's routine maintenance plans allow you to plan and budget for maintenance in advance, limiting unexpected problems or unplanned logistical delays.

At each interval you will receive a report of system condition, services performed, recommendations and calibration certificates.  Additional plans may also include upgrades and extended warranties.  Our goal is to make sure your Intercomp equipment is ready, available and performs to specification every time you need it.
